The 2008 Heisman winner is.....

Sam Bradford of Oklahoma.

If we are to look on one of the great seasons in college football, Sam Bradford was one of the major stories while leading his team to a national championship berth. (Yes, Texas fans I know that your team should be in as well)

Sam will now be listed among the great names of Eric Crouch, Ron Dayne, Andre Ware, and Danny Wuerffel. Bradford led Oklahoma to the National Championship game with 4,464 yard with 48 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

He becomes the first Oklahoma Heisman winner since Jason White in 2003 and the second only sophomore to win the award.

This now sets up a National Championship between the Heisman winner of this year and Tim Tebow, the Heisman winner of last year. In the end, that’s something we should be thankful for.
