What we learned from the NFL's Week 15

->The Carolina Panthers are red-hot, remember when John Fox’s job was on the line in Carolina? The Panthers 11-3 and the running combination of DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart is still going strong.

->The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to live by the skin of their collective teeth with 13 to 9 victory over Baltimore. The NFL’s #1 defense continues to impressive while their offense leaves something to be desired.

->How bout those Houston Texans? Winners of four in a row and handing the Tennessee Titans their second loss of the seasons, Andre Johnson had over 200 receiving. Could the NFL count the Tennessee win as two wins for them?

->A weekend of questionable coaching decisions include Jeff Fisher not kicking a 49 yard FG with an All-Pro kicker to Dick Jauron’s curious 2 and 5 call that ultimately cost the Bills a win against the New York Jets.

->In speaking of that game, NFL Referee Jeff Triplett took a face-plant from a push by a Bills offensive line-man with the results in the picture above.

-> Oakland, Detroit, Cleveland and St Louis continue to be unable to win football games but only Kansas City can blow a twelve point lead with only 1:15 left in the game.

->Also regarding the Oakland Raiders game kudos to Matt Cassell for coming back after the death of his father to throw four touchdowns. Again proving the theory that playing in Oakland after your dad dies is a good thing.

->Tavaris who? Tavaris Jackson led the Vikings to a 35 to 14 dubbing of the Arizona Cardinals with four touchdown passes. Obviously the party that the Cardinals had from winning the NFC West was to blame for this one.

-> And finally….Dallas Cowboys in turmoil? Didn’t look like it with their 20 to 8 victory over the once-invincible New York Giants. Maybe Ed Werder needs to check his sources.
