Here is the Rob Parker apology shown on ESPN First Take from this morning.

Overall, this really shouldn't be as big of a deal as everyone is trying to make it out to be.
Is Rob wrong for taking a personal shot at Rod Marinelli's daugther? Yes, he is.
However the media is over-blowing Rob's attempt at comedy. In our current politically correct world, this is an offense but he didn't actually make a joke about Marinelli's daugther. He made a joke at the expense of who she married.
This joke is made in America all the time from any level of class or opportunity. I bet any of the journalists critique Parker who have made the same joke themselves in private.
To but it bluntly is Rob Parker out of his damn mind? Yes, but it's give us something to talk about hasn't it.
