The BCS selects the BCS bowls...or is it the BSC

It's that time of year, College Football fans. The BCS decides who gets to play in the BCS bowl games and well looking below, no real surprises here.

BCS Championship Game: Florida vs. Oklahoma
Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs. Utah
Rose Bowl: Southern Cal vs. Penn State
Fiesta Bowl: Texas vs. Ohio State
Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati

The two teams with legitmate beefs are Boise State and Texas. Boise State was left out due to being in a mid-major conference and Texas was left out of the championship game because well....some of us are still trying to figure that one out.

If we are to look at this overall as a whole, the BCS has given us what we expected. Ohio State in Arizona..again, a mid-major plays an SEC powerhouse, and the Orange Bowl will again be watched by absolutely no one.

I know that I am one of the few individuals that like the BCS system. Honestly outside of March Madness, the bowls are my favorite part of the sporting year. However, there needs to be a bowl shake-up that will get the fans better match-ups.

The BCS in the end did something right, that is create controversy again.
