At the beginning of the season, many predictions were made for the NFL season. However, one of the predictions that was not made were the Arizona Cardinals winning the NFC West. Albeit, this is one of the divisions that no really cares about or anyone notices outside of the play-off push.
The typical prediction was the Seattle Seahawks to reclaim their upteenth title in a row but this crazy year in the NFL yielded another result that wasn't predicted to happen. How many people thought Kurt Warner was going to have an MVP year, the defense would be one of the best in turn-over margin and a Tim woud be in the backfield instead of Edge.
The credit in the end has to go to head coach Ken Whisenhunt who brought the Pittsburgh Steeler "defensive mentality" and honed the offense to feature their former MVP quarterback.
Albeit, most of America have seen maybe two Arizona Cardinal games at best. This team can be a threat in the playoffs due to their offense and young defense.
Finally, isn't it ironic that this the year that the Cardinals weren't the sexy pick to win the NFC West? Maybe in the end, the unpredictable is the predictable.
