What we learned from the NFL’s Week 14....

Finally with the full-slate of games over, we can now finally look and analyze the state of the NFL.

->The Carolina Panthers looked to be a dominant running team as they carved up the Bucs on Monday Night Football to the tune of 299 yards. However Tampa Bay has had issues stopping the run, so this isn’t surprising.

->The New York Giants are the worst 11-2 that ESPN has seen. I saw a clip on SportsCenter that the Giants now have “Giants Problems.” Seriously, the team is 11-2 and lost its starting running-back in the first half during the game against the Eagles.

->The other New York team, the Jets lose on the road to San Francisco. How did this team beat Tennessee again?

->The Cardinals winning the NFC West….it finally happened.

->If Toronto gets an NFL team, it better draw more fans. If you watch any of the highlights for the first ever regular season game between the Bills and Dolphins, the Rogers Centre is half-full at best.

->How bout those Houston Texans? The Texans have won three in a row with their 24 to 21 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Is an 8-8 season in their future?

->Ed Reed is bar-none one of the elite safeties in NFL history, The Ravens defense looks like the best defense in the NFL and Joe Flacco is good. Who thought those story-lines would be true?

->The Cleveland Browns looked horrendous in their loss to the Titans which is what happens when Ken Dorsey starts a game.

->There was a shoot-out in New Orleans at the Atlanta Ryan’s faced off against the New Orleans Brees. One thing to comment on here is Pierre Thomas had two rushing touchdowns.

->And finally, the Detroit Lions are 0-13, even megatron couldn’t save them.
