When we look at the week 14 of NFL games, it reminds me more of the Victoria's Secret fashion show. There alot of attractive games but you probably still have no chance of scoring with any of them.
PHI @ NYG: The Eagles fly into New York as the Giants look to improve on an 11 to 1 record. The Eagles had an impressive win against the Cardinals and it appears that McNabb is back to being the starter again. Even without the Plaxico Burress situation, look for the Giants to take the lead through their running game and Eli Manning.
Winner: Giants
MIN @ DET: The Lions continue their winless season as the Vikings come to town. Gus Frerotte looked like the 1994 version against the Chicago Bears. Honestly after awhile, we have to look at the team of destiny that is the Detroit Lions who will be the first 0-16 ever. However we have to take a look at the close 12 to 10 victory earlier in the season but who cares, Lions lose big. Winner: Vikings
ATL @ NO: How many of you picked the Atlanta Falcons to be in the playoff hunt by week 14? Rookie of the Year Matt Ryan will have to go the Superdome to keep the Falcons in the Wild-Card hunt. However, Drew Brees is looking to bounce back to that loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Watch for the shoot-out and "home-dome" advantage to give the Saints an edge.
Winner: Saints
MIA V BUF in Toronto, Canada: The great white north of canada will have its first ever regular season NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. The Bills will have to start JP Losman due to an injury to Trent Edwards, the Bills without Edwards should be on track for a loss. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams (who played in Canada for Toronto in the CFL) will just have to show up to Tim Horton's and get a victory.
Winner: Dolphins
NYJ @ SF: The 49ers and Shaun Hills face the J-E-T-S, JETS!, JETS!. It would be easy to assume that Brett Favre will carve up the 49ers secondary and Thomas Jones will have another big game. I like things, easy.
Winner: Jets
DAL @ PIT: The Cowboys will face off against Steelers on the road. The Boys will be without starting runningback Marion Barber but expected back-up running-back Tashard Choice to fill in fine. The Steelers are coming off a big victory against the Patriots on the road and look to take the strangle-hold on the AFC North. Look for the Cowboys to steal a win on the road.
Winner: Cowboys
and Sunday Night Football
WAS @ BAL: The Joe Flacco experiment seems to be working with the Ravens competing in the AFC North. The first flex-game of the year and well the only flex game, the Redskins will have to force turnovers and run the football down Baltimore throat. However, the Ravens should hold the Washington Redskins below 100 yard rushing and Joe Flacco throws for two touchdowns.
Winner: Ravens
Enjoy the games of Week 14.
