Current Staff
Managing Editor Ben Chew (AKA BC) founded Outside the Boxscore way back in December 2008. Ben is focus on articles and videos that can be appreciated by the average sports fan while also providing the analysis and commentary that even the most hardcore of fans can enjoy. He also runs That NBA Lottery Pick, an NBA humor focused blog.

Contributor Ronald Monestime (RMM) has your New York sports covered, from the Mets and the Yankees to the Knicks and the Nets to the Giants and the Jets to the Devils, Islanders and Rangers. Ronald brings a wealth of column writing and reporting experience from the professional wrestling world where he wrote for sites like Scoops and The Inside Wrestling Report. Ronald also welcomes the opportunity to hear your voice.
Contributor Jack Walker was born in San Francisco, CA and currently lives in Oakland, CA. An avid sports fan who loves any sport he can watch and participate in, Jack transferred that love to writing articles and analysis on a variety of teams and athletes. Currently about to finish his Journalism degree at San Francisco State University and writing for his own blog (Bay Area Sports Issues Forum), he hopes that he will continue to be reporting and analyzing sports for years to come.
Contributor Ryan Scott (RScott) is a fan of all major professional sports. He will listen to anytime of music except country and he'll only read the sports page. JUST THE SPORTS PAGE.
Writers Emeritus
Writer Emeritus Tim Dustin (SpastikMooss) originally started as a staff writer/editor for Outside the Boxscore before a site gimmick led him to his own blog entitled Great Sports Name Hall of Fame. He still stops in now and then for the occasional live blog or good story.
Writer Emeritus Sean Nagamatsu (snagamat) is Hawai'i born, Ohio educated, raised on Lakers fandom by his father from an early age. He's a starving teacher by day and a satiated artist by night. No, he is not a poet. Not even a bad one. He's a blogaholic, word-junkie, a self-proclaimed, self-reviled lit-head of the first order. He hearts rice, Ready to Die, and reading books like Moby-Dick. Ku kanaka!/word? Some segments Sean has started for this site include Epochrypha, The 2 A.M. Two-fer, The Call Out, and Stepping Up.
